Meet the Behavioral Associates Administrative Team

Alethia Williams, Office Manager, Insurance Specialist, Director of Undergraduate Internships, has been with Behavioral Associates for seven years. She is currently continuing her education at Hunter College-CUNY and hopes to pursue her JD degree, specializing in Medical Malpractice and Healthcare law. At Behavioral Associates, she maintains daily operations and handles insurance claims as well as patient accounts. Alethia is also the point of contact and facilitator for undergraduate students, helping them to obtain administrative internships in this vast and competitive field.

Brandon Bernardi, MSEd, BA, Executive Assistant, Director of Office Systems and Social Media, has been with Behavioral Associates since 2018. Currently, he facilitates the daily operations of the company, provides oriented consulting services, manages our referral network, and directs our social media efforts. In addition, Brandon has helped develop and currently manages our digital office management system which possesses features crucial to our clinical and administrative operations. Brandon currently holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology from The College of Saint Rose, and has received a Bachelor of Arts in Social Psychology, with a minor in Political Science, from Hunter College.

Bri Wellenzohn, BA, Administrative Assistant, has been with Behavioral Associates since 2021 where she initially worked as an undergraduate intern. She was later hired onto the administrative staff in 2023. Today, she assists in managing Behavioral Associates’ calendar and helps facilitate the many daily operations of the administrative office. Bri is currently studying at Teachers College, Columbia University to pursue her Ed.M. and M.A. in Mental Health Counseling. Additionally, she has received a B.A. in Psychology, with a minor in Sociology, from SUNY Geneseo.

Annie Reiner, BA, Research Associate, started out at Behavioral Associates as an intern. Currently, she is a recruiter and administrator for the “Shining New Light on Dementia Treatment” clinical trial. Annie received her Bachelor of Arts from Kenyon College where she majored in Psychology. She plans on going to graduate school to complete a doctorate in Clinical Psychology.

 

Catherine FarmerCatherine Farmer, B.A., Administrative Assistant Intern, began at Behavioral Associates in January 2022 as an undergraduate intern while completing her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Marist College. Upon graduating from Marist in May of 2022, Catherine continued her work at Behavioral Associates as an Administrative Assistant Intern. This coming fall, she will be attending Manhattan College to earn her Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling. Catherine is particularly interested in crisis counseling, assessment and treatment of eating disorders, and mood disorders. She hopes to work with children and adolescents in the future.

Samantha WilloughbySamantha Willoughby, BA, Administrative Assistant Intern, starting her work with Behavioral Associates in August, 2021 as an undergraduate intern. She is currently pursuing her doctorate (Psy.D.) in School Psychology from the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology at Rutgers University. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with minors in Business and Cognitive Science from Marist College in 2022. Samantha is passionate about working with adolescents in both school based and clinical settings. In addition to working at Behavioral Associates, Samantha is currently completing her school based practicum with the Freehold Regional High School District in New Jersey. She also sees clients through a second practicum/externship placement at the Rutgers GSAPP Center of Psychological Services and the Rutgers GSAPP Health Psychology clinic. Samantha’s research has centered around mindfulness-based interventions in schools and teacher consultation methods. Her clinical interests include integrating mindfulness-based practices into treatment, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and working with LGBTQ+ youth.

Undergraduate Interns

Aryan SuriAryan Suri, B.A., Undergraduate Intern, has been working at Behavioral Associates since August 2023 as an undergraduate intern while completing his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Economics from Marist College. Aryan has a strong interest in research and his previous projects include research on motivation, engagement, and persuasion in online learning environments, as well as led the research and development of an organic, anti-anxiety supplement for a Stanford startup. Aryan’s career aspirations are aligned with his research interests, as he plans to continue his research endeavors and earn a master’s degree in the mental health field.

Mackenzie ZeytoonjianMackenzie Zeytoonjian, Undergraduate Intern, began at Behavioral Associates in August 2023 as an undergraduate intern while completing her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Fine Arts from Marist College. Mackenzie Zeytoonjian’s field interest is Clinical Counseling with the integration of Art Therapy. Mackenzie has spent over 500+ hours of community service working with children with disabilities. She has taught several art classes for children with Down Syndrome and Autism. Mackenzie has recently attended The United Nations Youth Assembly to bring awareness to The Blue Butterfly Foundation, helping impoverished children and women escape human trafficking, and enslavement, to gain an education and citizenship in America. She is extremely grateful to be an intern at Behavioral Associates and looks forward to learning more about Neuropsychology and gaining knowledge from Ms. Alethia Williams and Dr. Robert Reiner.

Channah GarciaChannah Garcia, B.A., Administrative Assistant Intern, is an undergraduate intern at Behavioral Associates while completing her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Marist College. During her time at Marist, she has conducted research about the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on the mental health, specifically anxiety, of college students. She is looking to pursue a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a PsyD in Clinical Psychology upon her graduation from Marist in May 2024.
