Neuropsychological Testing
Neuropsychological tests are used to assess specific deficits
in cognitive (brain) functioning. Often such tests are
recommended following a head injury or after some form of injury
to the brain has occurred (as with a stroke). Injuries to the
brain can result in difficulties with memory, speech, motor
functioning, reasoning or spatial skills and so on.
Neuropsychological testing can help explain and understand the
type and severity of the deficit so that an individual can seek
treatment best suited for the injury. Our Psychologists at
Behavioral Associates perform the most advanced
neuropsychological testing in order to help develop a treatment
plan for optimal improvement in quality of functioning.
